Praise God for His goodness and care!!! Simeon's tonsil operation where a huge success and we were really blessed in so many ways on Curacao. We want to glorify God for taking care of us. Please pray for all the people that touched our lives, may God continue to receive all the glory.

Continue to pray for us as family for strength, wisdom in dealing with each situation, protection and provision in our needs here on Bonaire - physically, spiritually, financially and for the ministry - 26 September were our first Bonaire birthday.

It is Henk's heart's desire to have individuals or a group to form a team to discuss various issues, to help with the planning and executing of the work on Bonaire and to be the local representative/s of APEM on Bonaire. Please unite in supplication and travailing for this to come forth in the natural. Please raise up and strengthen our hands so that God will give victory in this. The children of Bonaire need it! God's kingdom needs it! And we need it!

This re-affirm your irreplaceable contribution in establishing and strengthening the Kingdom of God here on Bonaire.

Pietjie and the children's residence permits is not approved, yet and we wait with painful patients for it.

Pray for Henk's communication skills in establishing healthy relationships, wisdom, encouragement and favor with men and God in establishing and building the ministry on Bonaire.

Thank you that you continue to cover us under God's protection and deliverance through the blood of Jesus Christ for us as family in faithfulness, in health, in relationships, in communications and in service.

We really need your earnest and dedicated prayers to be able to serve in faithfulness.

Give thanks to God! The 48 mattresses are in the cabins of APEM. Praise God for providing the mattresses and the transport - only He made it possible.

Please pray with us now for youth leaders and other people to come forth to be trained in the evangelizing and discipling of Bonaire's children. That God will also provide in this special need. "Lord, thank you for what You have done thus far for Bonaire. Please continue to make a way where there seems to be no way. Amen".

Please pray for the finalization of the renewal process of Pietjie and the children's residence permits - there is still no progress.

If you would like to be a regular "prayer donor" for one of the campers, please contact me. You will become their prayer guardian and I will keep you up-to-date with specific prayer requests from the camper. To God all the glory and praises.

Please continue to pray for the governing body of Bonaire, the youth (cabin leaders) and the children of the camp for spiritual guidance, strength in making the right decisions and growth to become spiritually mature in Christ.

Nelmari's sixth birthday - 4 June 2009

Each of the 24 children in Nelmari's class, 1e, received a bag full of goodies.

To God all the glory and praises!!!
He is our redeemer and deliverer. Yes, we want to bring praises to our faithful Lord, His Name we want to lift up on high, He is worthy to receive all the glory and in Him we are still, acknowledging Him as Lord.

The two weeks (13-24 April 2009) in Aruba was an awesome highlight for us here in the Caribbean. The Lord not only protected Pietjie and the children during this two week period, but we received so many and such a variety of blessings. There was the isolated challenges to gain victory over - like our fridge that "died" the Sunday afternoon that I left for Aruba and Pietjie had to take charge of this crisis on her own - the fridge is our most valuable piece of furniture, because of the insulin that needs to be kept cool at all times. And the conclusion of this challenge was the provision of a brand new fridge through God's people.

We are so grateful to God's provision through His people. And that includes you for thinking about us, praying for us, contributing to the work in Bonaire and promoting your influence in the ministry here in Bonaire.
Thank you that you are obedient in God's kingdom.

The fridge was just the beginning of the blessings. We had 11 students for the 30 hour Teaching Children Effectively, level 1, training in Aruba - 8 of them did it in Papiamentu and 3 did it in English. God did miracles while they were practicing their assignments for their practicals to be evaluated on. One of the student's children accepted Christ as Savior while she was practicing the Wordless book (an evangelistic method) for her evaluation. Another student's child accepted Christ as Savior while she was practicing her Bible lesson for the evaluations. The harvest is ripe, they only need an opportunity to confess that the Lord is God, almighty.

Further more we received a once off donation from the students and other individuals on Aruba to the equivalent of 66% (2/3'ds) of our monthly budget for Bonaire and many other in-kind donations.
The exchange rate also dropped to $1:N$ 8.70, but we trust God for an even lower exchange rate. And al the expenses for this training opportunity was provided by CEF Aruba, the housing and all the meals was also given free of charge.
We want to express our gratitude for this blessings and pray that God's peace will be with each household and person that formed part of this blessing towards God's servants.

It is only God that can make all these things possible, He is worthy of al our praises - the source of our testimonies.

With another donation we received recently on Bonaire, God supplied in our full monthly budget for April from within the Caribbean region.

Yes, if we are obedient, God CAN!!!

All the praises and glory to our Father and Lord Almighty!!!
